DFRKTN is a brand founded by Sasha Thys in 2017. The primary focus of the brand is hand painted, sewn and dyed clothing with a base philosophy of slow fashion through the use of recycling and eco-conscious production. All while retaining evergreen and avant-garde designs.

The name DFRKTN is derived from "diffraction". The phenomenon in which light waves bend through an object and spread out into their own individual rays. And just like light waves, DFRKTN splits itself into different styles and aesthetics. Ensuring there is a bit of everything, for a bit of everyone.

DFRKTN doesn't rely on focusing on seasonal collections. Instead, focussing all of the attention into telling a story through limited or singular pieces.
